Guangyao Jin, professor and doctoral supervisor of History Department of Fudan University, founding director of international center of Chinese civilization research and director of Asian Research Center of Fudan University. Born in 1954 in Shanghai, he was admitted to the History Department of Fudan University in 1978. He has obtained bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree in international relations. He has visited overseas for many times, including visiting scholars from Leeds University in England and Columbia University in the United States, visiting professor in Lund University in Sweden and visiting professor in Korea University.

Professor Jin Guangyao's research fields include modern Chinese political history and history of foreign relations. In recent years, he mainly studies the history of the people's Republic of China.
