Viktor Eszterhai is a senior analyst at the Pallas Athéné Geopolitical Foundation (PAGEO), established by the Central Bank of Hungary. He holds an MA in History and Geography, and a BA in Psychology. He has been studying as a PhD Candidate at Eötvös Loránd University, Modern and Contemporary World History Doctoral Program since 2010, expected possession of doctoral degree in 2017. Between 2014 and 2015 he was a senior scholar at Tsinghua University, Department of International Relations. In 2017 he is visiting scholar at Fudan Development Institute. His research topics are the Chinese characteristics in foreign policy; Sino-Western relations; non-western international relations theory and geopolitics.
