Aida Urazaliyeva is a Senior researcher at the Center on Microeconomics and Real Sector Studies of the National Analytical Center, a Nazarbayev University based think tank in socio-economic sphere. She works there since 2012. Her prior work experience includes working with investment promotion agency and Investment Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is a regulatory body on investment climate and promotion.
Currently, her research focuses on competitiveness issues, global value chains, and energy issues.
Aida holds a Master in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University (USA), Bachelor in World Economics from Kazakh Economic University, and a Specialist in International Relations from Eurasian National University in Astana (Kazakhstan).
