    Andreas Grimmel is Research Associate and Lecturer at the Institute of Political Science of the University of Hamburg (since 2014) and at the Institute for European Integration, Europa-Kolleg in Hamburg (since 2013). Prior to this, he has been Visiting Fellow at Harvard University, the University of Cambridge and Sciences Po in Paris. Furthermore, he was Chercheur en Sciences Politiques at the European Court of Justice (CJEU) and postdoctoral Guest Researcher at the ARENA Centre for European Studies in Oslo, and the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg.

    In February/March 2017, Andreas Grimmel is joining the Fudan Development Institute in the framework of the FDDI Visiting Scholar Program.

    His research interests include European Union politics and European integration, regional integration, global governance in world society, international organizations, political theory and philosophy, international courts, integration through law / law in context, Wittgenstein studies, and Vietnam studies.
