Fakhar Bilal, serving as permanent Lecturer in History at the Department of History, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan since May 2009. He had completed his M.Sc. and M.Phil. (research) both in History at Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at Royal Holloway University of London, United Kingdom since May 2015. His PhD has been submitted for evaluation/examination process to the University of London, United Kingdom. His PhD project is on Colonial and Postcolonial Multan (Punjab) and its development with reference to religious education, religious seminaries, institutions and its impact on the wider society and on Pakistan overall. He has attended numerous international research and training courses relevant to his research area including but not limited to Oral History, History Teaching, Managing the Bibliography, Research Methods and Sources for Historical Research etc. He had presented at numerous international conferences in the U.K, China, Pakistan and Belgium.
