Prof. Matthias Thiemann

Matthias Thiemann is Full Professor of European Public Policy at Sciences Po Paris. He holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University, New York. His research focuses on post-crisis financial regulation on the one hand and the use of development banks in Europe as tools for public policy on the other. His research has been published in the Journal of European Public Policy, Review of International Political Economy, New Political Economy, the American Journal of Sociology, among others. His latest research project explores the history and features of the investment apparatus employed by the EU to help Ukraine and other accession countries integrate into the EU and the collaboration of MDBs and DBs in the field of climate finance.

Matthias Thiemann是巴黎政治学院欧洲公共政策领域教授，拥有美国纽约哥伦比亚大学博士学位。他的研究主要聚焦于两个方向：一是后危机时代的金融监管，二是欧洲如何运用开发银行作为公共政策工具。其研究成果发表于 “Journal of European Public Policy” “Review of International Political Economy” “New Political Economy” “the American Journal of Sociology” 等国际权威期刊。他近期的研究项目致力于探讨欧盟为助力乌克兰及其他入盟候选国融入欧盟体系所采用的投资机制的历史与特征，以及多边开发银行与各国开发银行在气候金融领域的协作模式。
