Peter E. Hamilton is an Assistant Professor in World History (Pacific World) at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. He is the author of Made in Hong Kong: Transpacific Networks and a New History of Globalization (Columbia University Press, Studies of the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, 2021), which will soon be available in Chinese translation. His research articles have or will soon be published in TheJournal of Asian Studies, Business History, Twentieth-Century China, Journal of Historical Sociology, The International History Review, and other venues.
