Associate Professor Ahmad Khoirul Umam is Managing Director of Paramadina Public Policy Institute (PPPI), Director of Paramadina Graduate School of Diplomacy, University of Paramadina, Jakarta; and also currently serves as an Expert Staff of Coordinating Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Republic of Indonesia. He holds a PhD degree in Political Science from The University of Queensland, Australia (2017). His degree of Master in Asian Governance is from Flinders University, South Australia (2010), while his Bachelor degrees were from Graduate Diploma of Asian Governance, Flinders University (2009) and also from the State Islamic University Walisongo, Central Java, Indonesia (2005).He is an editor of Journal of Integrity published by Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK RI). He also conducted some major research projects on Anti-Corruption and Policy Reforms in Infrastructure, Licensing and Custom in Indonesia; Chinese Investment in Indonesia; Private Sector Integrity & Anti-Corruption Reforms in Natural Resources Sector in Indonesia and so on.

Dr. Ahmad Khoirul Umam will be a visiting scholar at FDDI from April 25 to May 25, 2025.
