Wei Peng, Doctor of Human Geography,was born in Tongjiang, Sichuan Province. He mainly engaged in the Silk Road tourism culture and its development research. The field of his study is concerned with the tourism economy, tourism geography and research on mapping of intangible cultural heritage.
