PhD in Chinese history, Jinan University. Currently working as a post-doc research fellow at FudanGansu Silk Road Economic Zone Co-Development Research Institute under the FDDI.

His main research interests revolve around Chinese modern history, including history of Hexi Corridor,history of the West Route Army, history of Chinese Christian Universities, Christianity and the cultural exchange between China and the West.
