International Rules in Cyberspace: Practice and Exploration, a sub-forum of the 2022 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit, was held in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 10.
Sixty participants held discussions and offered insights on such issues as strengthening international cooperation through promoting universal access to digital infrastructure, expediting the development of a rule system for the digital economy, and strengthening international cooperation on digital technology development, as well as on building a new order in global cyberspace governance.
A document titled Compilation of Outcomes of International Seminars on Building a Community with A Shared Future in Cyberspace (Chinese and English edition) was released at the forum, which collects insightful ideas of experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and technology communities around the world.
The document thoroughly expounds upon the concept of building a community with a shared future in cyberspace from seven aspects, namely Building a New Order in Global Cyberspace Governance, Strengthening the International Rule of Law in Cyberspace, Expediting the Development of a Rule System for the Digital Economy, Strengthening the Construction of Digital Infrastructure, Enhancing International Cooperation on Critical Information Infrastructure Protection, Promoting Online Cultural Exchange and Mutual Learning, and Strengthening International Cooperation on Digital Technology Development, making greater contributions to the building a community with a shared future in cyberspace.
