Prof. Moinak Maiti is a globally recognized leader in financial data science and currently holds the prestigious FirstRand Foundation Endowed Chair in Financial Data Science at the University of the Witwatersrand. With extensive international experience as a visiting professor at top-ranked institutions, Prof. Maiti brings a global perspective to academic and industry research.

He has authored over 65 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals and a widely acclaimed textbook, Applied Financial Econometrics (Palgrave Macmillan). As an Editor for the Investment Analysts Journal (Taylor & Francis) and Associate Editor for the Future Business Journal (Springer Nature), he plays a key role in shaping cutting-edge scholarly research.

Prof. Maiti also serves on the editorial boards of several esteemed journals.
