José Eduardo Roselino Joins FDDI as Visiting Scholar

José Eduardo Roselino is an Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar - Brazil) and a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGEc/UFSCar). His research is in the field of Economics, with a focus on Industrial Economics, Economics of Innovation, International Economics, and Economic Development. His main areas of interest include:


•Industrial and technology policy

•Economics of technology and knowledge

•Productive internationalization

•National development strategies


José Eduardo Roselino has experience in research projects focused on the study of information and communication technology sectors and has collaborated with government institutions in Brazil on industrial and sectoral studies to support public policy formulation.


He is currently engaged in a research project with FDDI (Fudan Development Institute), conducting comparative studies on the Digital Economy in China and Brazil. This research emphasizes the sectoral distribution of the workforce involved in software and IT services, as well as the key factors driving the advancement of artificial intelligence.


Prof. José Eduardo Roselino will be a visiting scholar at FDDI from September 22 to November 21, 2025.
