The 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum took place from September 17 to 19 at the Beijing International Conference Center. Marking the 80th anniversaries of both the victory in the World Anti-Fascist War and the founding of the United Nations, the forum urged collective efforts to safeguard the post-war order, advance global security and governance initiatives, and seek practical solutions to conflict in an unsettled world. Since 2006, the forum has become a leading international platform on defense and security. On September 18, the associate professor Tianjiao JIANG, deputy director of the BRICS Research Center of FDDI, spoke to Xinhua about the role of BRICS in shaping the development and governance of artificial intelligence.
