种子基金·复旦-拉美大学联盟访问学者项目（2024年）

项目概况

随着全球疫情趋于平稳，复旦发展研究院“种子基金·复旦-拉美大学联盟[1]访问学者项目”重新向海外拉美研究学者开放申请，以加强后疫情时代学术研究及合作，促进海外学者与复旦大学学者交流沟通。

申请条件

1、申请人应拥有中国大陆以外国籍，年龄在60岁及以下。每位申请人可自愿带领一名优秀拉美研究博士生共同来访；

2、申请人应为在中国大陆以外的大学或研究机构拥有正式职务的学者、资深专家或行业精英，具备良好的研究能力；

3、申请人须确定一名在复旦大学有正式职务的合作研究学者（中外籍均可）后方可申请本项目。申请人须确保该复旦学者可与其定期交流并为其主持讲座；

4、申请人须安排为期30-90天的访问时间。共同来访的博士生应安排90天的访问时间；

5、2020年获录取学者将优先安排来访；

6、工作语言应为英文。

申请材料

申请人应将以下材料（英文）打包，以“FLAUC Fellow Program + 学者姓名”方式命名，发送至fdifudan@fudan.edu.cn

1、复旦发展研究院“复旦-拉美大学联盟访问学者”申请表（请见附件FLAUC Fellow Program Application Form.docx或从以下网址下载）

2、个人简历，包括教育与研究经历、已发表学术成果；

3、个人高清照片一张；

4、一份访问期间的研究计划（英文，不少于2页）；

5、复旦大学合作学者简历；

6、如有博士生共同参与申请，请同时发送博士生的申请表、个人简历及个人高清照片一张。

工作职责

1、访问学者（包括申请人及博士生，下同）应围绕“国家发展动力”展开研究，具体领域包括但不限于各国发展现状及困惑、数字化转型、科技创新、城市发展与治理、青年研究、碳达峰碳中和等；

2、访问学者应在访学结束时提供一篇工作论文作为访学期间研究成果，论文正式发表需注明“复旦发展研究院复旦-拉美大学联盟访问学者项目”支持；

3、访问学者应就其研究课题在复旦发展研究院进行至少一次讲座，并积极参加复旦发展研究院组织的研讨活动；

4、访问学者应每周至少两个工作日在研究室工作，并接受复旦大学教研人员及学生的预约见面；

5、访问学者应为复旦发展研究院出版物提供稿源，可以自己撰写，也可以进行推荐；

6、访问学者在国内访问期间参与其他机构活动时，应提前告知复旦发展研究院，并在职位中注明“复旦发展研究院访问学者”。

*所有访问学者向复旦发展研究院提交的文章，可能被甄选并推荐发表。访问学者须保证其所提交或推荐的文章不会引起任何版权纠纷。

工作条件

1、复旦发展研究院为访问学者提供合理的机票及生活补贴，并为复旦大学合作学者提供合理的酬金；

2、访问学者驻校期间，可使用复旦大学的图书馆和电子资源；

3、复旦发展研究院长期向访问学者提供研究室，每周一至周五，8:30-17:00开放，假期除外；

4、访问学者在校期间可参加所有复旦大学的公开讲座、会议和论坛等活动；

5、复旦发展研究院为访问学者提供文章发表平台和机会，包括学术论文发表和媒体评论发表；

6、复旦发展研究院将为有意向的访问学者提供一次田野调查机会。

Fudan Development Institute

Seed Fund · FLAUC Fellow Program (Year 2024)

Overview

As the global pandemic stabilizes, Fudan Development Institute (FDDI) welcomes qualified scholars in the field of Latin American studies to apply for its “Seed fund · FLAUC[1] Fellow Program”. The program allows scholarsto interact with Fudan faculty and help deepen cross-disciplinary academic collaborations in the post-pandemic era.

Eligibility

1. Applicants are required to be or under 60 years of age and hold nationality of outside Chinese mainland; Each applicant may volunteer to recommend an outstanding PhD student in the same research field to join the visit;

2. Applicants are required to hold a faculty position at a recognized university or be a regular member at an established research institute outside Chinese mainland;

3. Applicants are required to identify a joint research collaborator with full faculty position at Fudan University before applying for the program. Applicants should make sure that their Fudan collaborator is available to regularly discuss about the research and host their seminars;

4. Applicants are required to be available for full-time research at FDDI for 30-90 days. PhD students are required to be available for 90 days;

5. Preference will be given to scholars who have been accepted in 2020;

6. The working language is required to be English.

2. Curriculum Vitae (including academic and professional experiences, previous research list, etc.);

3. High resolution picture of the applicant (JPEG or PNG);

4. Research proposal (minimum 2 pages in English);

5. Curriculum Vitae of the joint research collaborator at Fudan University;

6. In the case of having a PhD student, please offer the application form, CV and high resolution picture of the PhD student as well.

Responsibility

1. The research fields are required to focus on “driving force for a nation’s development”, including but not limited to national development status and confusion, digital transformation, science and technology innovation, urban studies, youth studies, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality;

2. The visiting scholar (including the applicant and the PhD student) is required to submit a working paper during the visiting period. Upon the publication of the paper, the visiting scholar should indicate the support of the “Fudan Development Institute Seed Fund · FLAUC Fellow Program” in the paper;

3. The visiting scholar is required to make at the FDDI at least one seminar on the research topic during the visiting period, and actively participate in other seminars organized by the FDDI;

4. The visiting scholar is required to work at the FDDI office for at least 2 days per week, and meet with other scholars, staff or students who have made an appointment with them;

5. The visiting scholar is required to contribute to FDDI publications, either by submitting their own works or recommending articles from others;

6. The visiting scholar is required to inform FDDI in advance when attending activities organized by other institutions during the visiting period, and add “Visiting Scholar, Fudan Development Institute, Fudan University” as title;

*All the reports/ articles/ essays that the visiting scholar submits to FDDI may be selected and recommended to FDDI publishing partners. Please ensure that the submissions or recommendations do not cause any copyright conflicts.

Privilege

1. FDDI will provide the visiting scholar with a reasonable stipend for international transportation and living expenses during the visiting period, as well as a reasonable remuneration for their Fudan collaborator;

2. The visiting scholar enjoys full access to libraries and electronic resources at Fudan University during the visiting period;

3. The FDDI provides each visiting scholar with free office space which is accessible from Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 17:00 (except for University holidays);

4. Visiting scholars are welcome to attend lectures and all public scholarly events at Fudan University;

5. The FDDI will provide platforms and opportunities for publication in academic journals and the media in China;

6. Visiting scholars would have free field trip opportunities arranged by FDDI.
