Roundtable on “The Development and Challenges of Large Model Technologies” Held at Fudan

On September 10, the Center for Global AI Innovative Governance and the FDDI jointly hosted a roundtable discussion themed “The Development and Challenges of Large Model Technologies.”


Dr. Hongjiang ZHANG, Investment Partner at Source Code Capital and Foreign Member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, was invited to visit the Center and deliver a keynote speech on“The Latest Developments and Challenges in AI Technology.” In his talk, Dr. Zhang reviewed the evolution of the AI field and shared his perspectives on the future direction of core technologies, the emergence of Agentic AI and the Agent Economy, as well as the potential risks associated with Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).


The event brought together leading experts and scholars, including Professor Cuihong CAI from the Institute of International Studies, Fudan University, and Researcher at the Center; Professor Duoqi XU, Director of the Center for Law and Digital Economy at Fudan University, and Researcher at the Center; Professor Yi ZHANG, Executive Vice Dean of the FDDI; Qi XU, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai AI Industry Association; and Yuwei YIN, Director of the Association's AI Governance Department.


The discussion was moderated by Dr. Changjian JIANG, Researcher at the Center for Global AI Innovative Governance. Members of the Center's research team also participated in the exchange.
