The 7th Fudan–Latin American University Consortium Annual Conference was successfully held in Lima, Peru.

From December 4 to 5, 2025, the 7th Annual Conference of the Fudan–Latin American University Consortium (FLAUC) was successfully held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) in Lima, Peru. Centered on the theme “Cooperation and Development amid Profound Changes in the International Order,” the conference featured nine academic parallel sessions  and one meeting of the Consortium Counci.


More than 60 experts and scholars from Fudan University and universities across Latin America—including institutions from Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico —gathered in Lima to deliver presentations on topics such as Global South cooperation, China–Latin America development strategies, investment and trade, industrial collaboration, and technological innovation. Over 200 Chinese and Latin American scholars and students participated in the discussions and exchanges.


Professor Zhimin CHEN, Vice President of Fudan University, delivered a video address. During the conference, several members of the Fudan University delegation presented keynote talks, and Hao HUANG, Vice Dean of the Institute of Development Studies at Fudan University, attended the Consortium Council meeting.
