BRICS countries are a source of stability and certainty in today’s world. Their shared values and innovative cooperation mechanisms are attracting countries of the Global South, making expansion an inevitable trend. Key achievements include the establishment of the New Development Bank, the advancement of higher education cooperation, and the launch of partnerships for joint revolutions in emerging industries. China and Russia have deepened strategic coordination, issued a joint statement on global strategic stability, and expanded cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence. BRICS countries should prioritize infrastructure development centered on artificial intelligence; member states possess distinct strengths in science and technology and should formulate detailed cooperation roadmaps. In the green economy, prospects for public–private cooperation are strong, with significant potential for intra-BRICS trade and investment. The Fudan BRICS Research Center supports cooperation through academic research, policy recommendations, and the initiation of university alliances. Cultural and educational exchanges—together with respect for each other’s core interests and an open, candid approach to cultural differences—are essential to fostering mutual understanding.
