On November 20,2025, the second China-Arab Youth Summit was successfully held at Fudan University. Jointly initiated by Fudan University and the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the summit was organized by the Institute of Global Public Policy at Fudan University and the Training Department of the League of Arab States, hosted by the Fudan-Arab Center for Global Development and Governance, and co-organized by the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the Development Research Institute, and the Communist Youth League Committee of Fudan University.

The summit featured a video presentation showcasing twenty young Chinese and Arab delegates from various fields, hailing from diverse sectors including government agencies, research institutions, enterprises, and international organizations. In the video segments, the delegates introduced themselves and shared their practical experiences in Sino-Arab cooperation. During the summit's core session, the young representatives presented reports on four key themes—global governance, China-Arab relations, the Digital Silk Road, and youth development—based on their group discussions. The event released the Joint Declaration of the Second China-Arab Youth Summit, outlining four action directions: enhancing global governance efficiency through multilateral collaboration, deepening intergenerational friendship between China and Arab nations through cultural exchange, building a Digital Silk Road cooperation network through technological synergy, and empowering youth development through digital platforms. These initiatives inject vibrant youthful energy into constructing a closer China-Arab community with a shared future.

Prior to the summit, Chinese and Arab youth representatives established a solid foundation for in-depth communication through the Arab League's Academic Training Camp for Middle-aged and Young Officials and multiple thematic panel discussions. Meanwhile, the organizers arranged for Arab youth to gain a deeper understanding of Shanghai's socio-economic development practices, which enhanced their comprehension of Chinese-style modernization. Moving forward, the China-Arab Youth Summit will continue to serve as a bridge for youth development, fostering interaction between Chinese and Arab youth, transforming their ideas into concrete practices of practical cooperation, and contributing Fudan University's wisdom and youth energy to building a China-Arab community with a shared future.
