Currently, as the capabilities of frontier artificial intelligence continue to advance, implementing effective governance at both the domestic regulatory and international coordination levels has become an urgent challenge faced by all countries. On the afternoon of March 10, 2026, the Global AI Governance Workshop: Domestic and International Perspectives, co-hosted by The Safe AI Forum (SAIF), the Global Artificial Intelligence Innovation Governance Center, and the Research Center for AI Political Science at Tongji University, and co-organized by the Fudan Development Institute and the Shanghai Academy of Artificial Intelligence and Social Development, was held in Conference Room 402 of the Think Tank Building at Fudan University. Nearly twenty experts and scholars from Chinese and international institutions, universities, and research institutes, including representatives from SAIF, an Evaluations Startup (Stealth), Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Tongji University, the Shanghai Institute for Science of Science, and the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, participated in the workshop. The discussions focused on exchanging in-depth insights and conducting seminars on topics such as the domestic regulation of frontier AI, international agreements and coordination mechanisms, and directions for future cooperation.
