Weisen Li, born on October 5, 1953, Han nationality, native place: Shandong Province, doctor of economics, Professor, doctoral supervisor.




After receiving a bachelor's degree in economics from Shandong University in 1982, he worked as an editor in the editorial department of Dongyue Lun Cong, Shandong Academy of Social Sciences for several years, and was named as an assistant researcher. In 1987, he was sponsored by the United Nations to study in the National Development Research Center of Australian National University. In 1989, he obtained a master's degree from the Australian National University. He received his doctorate in economics from the University of Sydney in 1995. From 2000 to 2001, he was a visiting professor in the school of economics and politics, Cambridge University.


His main research fields are institutional economics and comparative institutional analysis. He also has a wide range of research interests in philosophy, ethics, law, political science, anthropology, linguistics, sociology and religious theology. He has published dozens of papers in famous academic journals at home and abroad.
