Yihua Jiang, born in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province in February 1939, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the History Department of Fudan University, a member of the Social Science Committee of the Ministry of education, a senior distinguished professor of Fudan University, and director of the research center of Chinese and foreign modernization process of Fudan University, the key research base of Humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of education. He was the director of the center for contemporary social and cultural studies of Fudan University and the first president of the school of Humanities of Fudan University. Mr. Jiang is mainly engaged in the study of the history of Chinese culture, the history of modern Chinese thought, historical theory and the history of modern Chinese and foreign relations. He is the chief tutor of the doctoral program of Chinese modern history and special history in the History Department of Fudan University, and the tutor of the post doctoral station of history,
