This notice is to call for papers for the special issue “Technological Transitions and China-Latin America Relations” of the Revista de Gestao, edited by the School of Economics, Management and Accounting, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

This Special Issue will call for papers that contribute to addressing the following questions, but are not limited to:

1. The three coming transitions: technological,sustainable, and great powers relations. 


1.1. The impact of digitalization on business management,jobs, consumer behavior, and global production 


1.2. Innovation and entrepreneurship, university to business knowledge transfers. 


1.3. Technological transition towards sustainability (circulare conomy and new value chains).


1.4. How can Latin American companies take part in global value-chains lead by Chinese companies?

3.1. Geopolitics of the BRI in Latin America: defense and technology, hemispheric policy. 


3.2. BRI and technological catching-up (or falling behind). 


3.3. Will China succeed in its technological catch-up?


3.4. Will Latin America reap the benefits of China ́s technological catch-up?
