In the afternoon of January 1st, Dean of the Fudan School of Economics, Yuan Zhigang, and Vice Dean, Sun Lijian, together with Huan Minyi, the Master of the World Economic Research Institute, visited the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). The Dean of UCSD International Relation & Pacific Study Institute (IR/PS),Peter Cowhey; the Director of Center on Emerging and Pacific Economies, Gordon Hanson; the Members of the UCSD China Research Center (Richard Madsen, Fan Lizhu, Guang Lei); the President of the 21 Century China Program, Susan and famous economists like Barry Naughton had all attended this meeting. This meeting had strengthened the cooperation between Fudan University and UCSD.
