December 20, 2012，the Communication and State Governance Research CenterEstablishment Ceremony, e.g.the First Forum of this Center which was sponsored by Fudan Development Institute and Fudan Journalism School was successfully held in the Communication Center of Fudan Journalism School.

The Dean of Fudan Journalism School presided over the ceremony, Zhu Yonglei, the Vice Minister of the Propaganda Committee of Shanghai Communist Party and Lin Shangli, the Vice Master of Fudan University delivered speeches in the ceremony. And later the above mentioned two unveiled the nameplate for this forum.

The Communication and State Governance Research Center is based on Fudan Journalism School. It is multidisciplinary center combining sociology, administration, political science, philosophy, computer and etc. This Center would mainly focus on the most urgent issues China is presently confronted with, and in this way providing strategies for the Party and Government to solve key problems while striving to be an ideal think tank for the top leadership.

With the theme of “Challenges and Chances in Governance Brought by the New Communication Revolution”, numerous experts from various field concerning communication all delivered speeches in this forum, including Xu Beibei fromLiberation Daily,Liu Jianjun from Fudan International Relation & Public Affairs Department, Lu Hanlong from Chinese Society Committee, Zhu Defu from Alibaba Group, Shen Yi from Fudan Communication and State Governance Research Center and etc.

This forum included two sub-forums both with a heated and comprehensive discussion.
