Trevor Davies, the director of Fudan Tyndall Center, and Associate Professor Jiang Ping visited Yunnan Institute of Environmental Science on Sep. 17, 2013. They were warmly received by Lu Yunyan, the vice-president of Yunnan Institute of Environmental Science, and He Yan, director of Low Carbon Centre. On behalf of Fudan Tyndall Center and Yunnan Institute of Environmental Science respectively, Davies and Lu signed the cooperation agreement between those two organizations.

After discussions, both sides also agreed on the following aspects of cooperation:

1.     Together with University of East Anglia (UEA), Fudan Tyndall Center will cooperate with Yunnan Institute of Environmental Science to build the Low Carbon Sample Building.

2.     More dialogues will be held concerning renewable energy, biodiversity conservation and climatic adaptation.

3.     The two sides also discussed other specific aspects, such as scholar exchange and visiting.
