The Geneva Association (The InternationalAssociation for the Study of InsuranceEconomics) reported the establishment of the CISSRC in Insurance Economics News in January 2013 (no. 67). The Association indicated that with the significant establishment of this international financial center in Shanghai, Fudan University is starting to focus on enhancing research on insurance economics. By means of unique research advantages and an excellent think tank team, the CISSRC will come to play a crucial role in Chinese government policy consultation and international research projects. The Geneva Association also hopes that the CISSRC will become an important platform for promoting the internationalization of Chinese insurance.
