AIIB and Shanghai Free Trade Zone work together to push the internationalization of RMB. The internationalization of RMB built by market provides a better platform for RMB. Adding RMB into the multiple-currency system also helps to weaken the too large size USD occupies in the world currency system and spread investment risk.
