Megha Shrivastava is currently an Assistant Professor at PES University, Bengaluru, India. She received her PhD from the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, Manipal Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka, India. Her research focuses on technology policy, international relations, and global governance.
She is a recipient of the 2025 US-India Artificial Intelligence Fellowship awarded by Observer Research Foundation America, Washington, DC, and the Network of Advanced Study of China Fellowship awarded by the Bengaluru-based Takshashila Institution.
Her research interests include China’s information and communication technology (ICT) policies, U.S. technology policy toward China, great power competition, AI governance, and global technology policy.
During her visit to the Center for Global Al Innovative Governance (CGAlG) and Fudan Development Institute (FDDI), she will conduct research on AI governance, global technology policy, China’s ICT policies, and great power technology competition, with a particular focus on the relationship between sustainable AI futures for the Global South and international technology governance.
Megha Shrivastava will be a visiting scholar at CGAIG and FDDI from June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.
