Woo Wing Thye is University Chair Professor at Liaoning University, Visiting Professor at Fudan University, and Distinguished Professor Emeritus, University of California Davis.  He is also Vice-President for Asia at UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN, www.unsdsn.org) -- an international nonprofit organization working to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Treaty -- and Research Professor at Sunway University (which hosts the SDSN Asia Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur). He is an expert on the East Asian economies, particularly, China, Indonesia, and Malaysia. His current research portfolio includes projects on Green Finance, Decarbonization Pathways, Biodiversity Protection, and Global Economic Architecture for the Multi-Polar World. Wing Woo has been the convener of the Asian Economic Panel since 2001, a forum of specialists on Asian economies which meets tri-annually and publishes the Asian Economic Papers, MIT Press.
