Meryem Duygun, Meryem Duygun is a Professor of Banking and Finance at the Nottingham University Business School in the UK.  Meryem holds the Aviva Chair in Risk and Insurance and directs the ESRC IAA funded University of Nottingham Fintech Research Network.  She is the President of IFABS-International Finance and Banking Society.  Her expertise is in the areas of risk, financial technologies (FinTech) and Insurtech. Her current research on InsurTech is funded by the British Academy.  Meryem is the academic delegate on the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) Financial Services Innovation Forum. She is a regular consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), Asian Development Bank Institute and the Indonesian Supreme Audit Board (BPK). Meryem serves as an editorial board member for a number of internationally recognized journals.  Currently she is subject editor of Journal of International Financial Markets Institutions & Money (ABS 3) and Associate Editor in Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence -Artificial Intelligence in Finance. She served as a guest editor for Journal of Corporate Finance (ABS 4) and Journal of Banking & Finance (ABS 3).

Zhiyang Guo, Zhiyang Guo obtained Ph.D degree on cloud infrastructure from Stony Brook University in 2014, published over 25 papers and 1 book in this area when he was a software engineer at Airbnb, passionate about scalable architecture design, functional programming, big data and machine learning.

Before Airbnb, he worked in the modeling Infrastructure team at Rocket Fuel, inc, where he led the effort on developing a Apache spark-based machine learning library that enables easy construction of machine learning pipelines.

Tony Tang, Mr. Tony Tang, Assistant President of Huifu Payment Limited, once studied in:
    • Carey School of Business of ASU, USA
    • University of Wollongong, Australia
    • Shanghai University, China
    • Shanghai National Accounting Institute, China
    • Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China

He owns two master degrees of Finance EMBA and Computer science, a Bachelor degree of Economics.

Tony Tang has been a veteran of internet and financial payment industry with over 15-year management experience and joined in Huifu in 2006 as a founding member, in charge of Branding, Public relationship, Government relationship, etc.
Tony Tang who is now appointed by SHEITC, STCSM and SSE as expert, has undertaken several significant provincial government projects, compiling Payment Revolution and Research on Shanghai Finance Information Service Development, 2013.

Jing Wang, Jing Wang is an Assistant Arts Professor of Interactive Media Business (IMB). She received her Ph.D. from the School of Information and Communication at Rutgers University. Wang studies how technologies influence the financial domain in the global context. Her recent work focuses on the social and political implications of fin-techs. Wang’s work can be found in the journal of Telecommunications Policy, International Journal of Communication, The Political Economy of Communication, and Communication and the Public. She has also been invited to comment on The China Business News, and China Global TV Network. Before joining NYU Shanghai, Wang taught at Tulane University in Louisiana.

Xian Xu,Xian Xu is a Professor of Risk Management and Insurance at the Fudan University Economics School. He is the head of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance, the director of China InsurTech Lab and director of the China Insurance and Social Security Research Center at the Fudan University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. He is currently serving as a council member of the Insurance Society of China, vice chairman of Shanghai Insurance Association, research associate at the Centre for European Economic Research in Germany. Xu’s research focuses on insurance, disaster economics, risk  management. Xu has already published four books (two are about InsurTech) and numerous studies in both international and Chinese journals, including among others Journal of Banking and Finance, Scandinavian Actuarial Journal, The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance, Disaster Prevention and Management. He has presided many research projects supported by United Nations Development Programme, British Academy, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Disaster Reduction Center of China, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, China Insurance Regulatory Commission etc.

Yi Yu, Yi Yu is chief operating officer (COO) at Saxo Bank Greater China region, and member of the senior management team in Saxo Bank Group. she is responsible for Saxo Bank Greater China’s full digital value chain overseeing the regional operations, business management, platform, product and open api development.Yi Yu joined Saxo Bank in 2017, and has been relocated from Denmark to China since 2019, serves as Chief Operating Officer in Saxo Bank Greater China, overseeing business development in both China mainland and HK markets to ensure product, process, platform and service excellence in the region.

Yi Yu has a strong profile centered around analytical driven digital solution development within Banking across segments. Prior to joining Saxo Bank, Yu served as Chief Program Lead in Danske Bank.
Yi Yu holds double Master’ s degrees in Business Administrations from Wuhan University and Economics from University of Copenhagen.

Ye Yin, Ye Yin is a research assistant at FDDI China insuance and social security center,his research interest includs Insurtech and household saving behaviour and insurance demand.

Ning Zhang,Ning Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate at Henley Business School, University of Reading. She focuses her research on managing financial risk, especially model risk in the context of market risk. She has published on the Journal of Banking and Finance. Besides, her working papers have been presented on important academic conferences.
