Peter Buchas graduated from Xiamen University with his master thesis on the 干部责任制(Cadre Evaluation System). From 2009 on he is consulting both state-owned and private corporations on improving their international operations. He is CFO of the Austrian Chinese Business Association, teaches at German and Austrian Universities, and as a fellow expert at the Institute for Peace Support and Conflict Management (IPSCM) he is responsible for China studies. Peter's research focus lies on Chinese Strategy and by 2016 Peter is developing a framework that makes Chinese strategic preferences and behaviour graspable for other countries in order to foster mutual understanding.
