João holds a Master’s Degree (MsC) in Production Engineering at Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo from which he is also a PhD Candidate in Production Engineering. He also holds a BSc in Applied Social Sciences with major in Public Relations at University of São Paulo, including an exchange period at Libera Università di Lingue and Comunicazione IULM in Milan, Italy.

He has experience and research interest in sustainability and organizational management areas, working mainly in the following subjects: business model innovation for urban mobility; sustainable urban mobility; sustainable business models and transitions management for sustainability.

He has also +10 years of experience in management consulting for large companies in Brazil and Latin America, with primary focus on strategy, innovation and knowledge management and human capital management.
