复旦发展研究院（FDDI）欢迎国际学者申请访问学者项目，作为“博享学者”来访，与复旦发展研究院研究员和其他复旦大学学者进行学术交流，并在 FDDI 进行独立研究。

一、申请条件

申请人须拥有外国国籍，应为国外大学或研究机构的教职人员或研究人员，在本学科领域中拥有一项正在进行的研究项目或课题，能够在2024年内安排为期30-90天的来华访问时间。研究兴趣可以是以下领域之一：政治学、社会学、经济学、环境、金融以及其他社会科学领域。若有在政府、国际组织、知名企业、高级智库或媒体机构工作背景的，同时具备较强的学术传播和科学政策研究能力，也可申报。

二、工作职责

访问学者应每周至少两个工作日在研究室工作;积极参加复旦发展研究院组织的研讨活动，并就其研究进行至少一次讲座;访问结束后，撰写研究工作汇报，并在复旦发展研究院《国家发展动力》系列丛书上发表相关咨政报告。

*访问学者须保证其所提交或推荐的文章不会引起任何版权纠纷。

三、资助保障

复旦发展研究院将为访问学者报销有上限的国际往返经济舱机票，提供相应生活补贴：助理教授（600元/天，税前）；副教授（800元/天，税前）；正教授（1200元/天，税前）。本项目仅为同一学者提供一次资助，不可重复申请。

另外，FDDI 为每位访问学者提供免费的办公空间（寒暑假期除外），以及免费的实地考察，并欢迎访问学者参加校园内的讲座和公共活动。同时，FDDI将提供学术期刊和中文媒体的平台和发表机会。

四、申请方式

1. 申请材料（英文）：申请表、简历、申请人的高分辨率照片（JPEG或PNG）、研究计划（至少 2 页）、申请人所在领域的专家或申请人机构负责人的一封推荐信；我们将给予已有复旦校内邀请学者的申请人优先考虑。若您已确定合适的邀请人，并与其建立了联系，请务必在申请材料中附上邀请人的相关信息。

Fudan Development Institute (FDDI) welcomes qualified scholars to apply for ‘Fudan Visiting Scholar’ program. The program  allows  scholars  to  interact  with  Fudan  faculty  and  help  deepen  cross-disciplinary academic collaborations.

1. Eligibility

Applicants must hold foreign nationality and be faculty members or researchers at overseas universities or research institutions. Research interest could be one of the following fields:  political science, sociology, economics, environment, finance, and other fields of social sciences. They should have an ongoing research project or topic within their field of study and be able to arrange a 30-90 day visit to China in 2024. Applicants with backgrounds in government, international organizations, renowned enterprises, top think tanks, or media institutions, who also possess strong academic communication and scientific policy research capabilities, are also eligible to apply.

2. Responsibilities

l  Visiting scholars are required to work in the research office at least two working days per week; actively participate in seminars organized by the Fudan Development Institute, and give at least one presentation on their research.

l  All Visiting Scholars are required to submit a final report on the outcome of their research.

l  Publish a relevant policy advisory report in the National Development Impetus book series by the Fudan Development Institute.

*Visiting scholars must ensure that the articles they submit or recommend do not involve any copyright disputes.

3. Funding and Support

l  Fudan Development Institute will reimburse visiting scholars for round-trip international economy class airfare up to a certain limit, and provide a corresponding living allowance: Assistant Professors (600 RMB/day, pre-tax); Associate Professors (800 RMB/day, pre-tax); Full Professors (1200 RMB/day, pre-tax). This program provides funding for a scholar only once and cannot be applied for multiple times.

The maximum Economy Class allowances are as follows:

l  Additionally, FDDI offers each visiting scholar free office space (excluding winter and summer holidays), and invites visiting scholars to participate in on-campus lectures and public events. FDDI will also provide platforms and opportunities for publication in academic journals and Chinese media.

4. Application Method

Application Materials (in English): Application form, resume, a high-resolution photo of the applicant (JPEG or PNG), research plan (at least 2 pages), a recommendation letter from an expert in the applicant's field or from the head of the applicant's institution.

Preference will be given to applicants who already have an invitation from a scholar within Fudan Development Institute, or other departments from Fudan University. If you have already identified a suitable invitee and established contact, please be sure to include the invitee's relevant information in your application materials.
