Established in 2022, Center for Yangtze River Conservation Theoretical and Policy Research is a think tank research platform for strategic cooperation between Fudan University and Yangtze River Fishery Supervision and Management Office of MARA. It aims to carry out interdisciplinary research on the Yangtze River conservation and the 10-year fishing ban in the Yangtze River, focusing on the Yangtze River conservation strategy and the overall requirements of aquatic ecosystem protection, and promote the Yangtze River protection and build a new comprehensive management system. Supported by Fudan Development Institute, the center combines theory and practice to exert the influence of relevant achievements and policies research, improve the conversion rate of scientific and technological achievements and intellectual support for management decision-making simultaneously.
